Collar is now attached to the keezer using the original hinges and original lid gasket. Top trim is done working on finishing the corner trims and the drip edge. What does everyone recommend for setting for the temp controller? I will not be home brewing with it just commercial kegs. Thanks

Collar is all sealed the face and sides are black walnut the top is hard maple. It's just sitting on the freezer right now it's not attached. I made the trim to go around the top edge as well as the corner trims need to seal and attach it still

Hump is 7-3/4" x 15" Lower section is 19 1/4" x 15"

Got the first coat of poly on the maple trim. I also added black walnut plugs to the screw holes for some accent I'll post close ups of that later

I'm not screwing into the keezer at all or don't plan to lol it will be built so the keezer can slide out if ever need be.

Thanks I'll just throw a couple coats of poly on it and I'll cover it with foam board too

I built a collar and a lid the interior of it is unfinished is it recommended to paint or stain this with an exterior grade to prevent it from moisture inside the keezer? Thanks

Thanks for the reply what's the best option as to where to put the temp probe I'm going to have 2 one for the inkbird and another secondary gauge too I don't really wanna attach them to the kegs because I'll have to take them off every time I need to change a keg out

I bought the freezer brought it home and tried the 1/6 kegs you can fit 2 but not 2 on the floor only 1 on the hump and another one on the floor I'm looking to get 3 in a small freezer 2 on floor one on the hump. My last attempt is a dandy 5.5 cu ft freezer if not I'm stuck with just 2 taps...

I used bamboo flooring on the top a different bamboo on the sides and wrapped it all with maple hardwood

Just for anyone wondering magic chef 5.2 will not fit 3 1/6 kegs only 2 one on the floor and one on the hump.

Thanks guys I did have it in a cup of water but not taped just dangling in it. Is a heat source necessary or do a lot of guys just let the freezer come back up to temp on its own?
