Took a gravity reading today on my 5gal batch.. 1.016. Newbie here..,brewed it on Easter Sunday. Done? Thoughts?

I used liquid yeast. The temps are/were steady at 67/68 degrees. I did not try swirling. But my FG is right where the recipe states 1.014. I will take another hydro reading this eve. Thanks guys!

2 weeks ago I brewed my first all grain batch. It is an Irish red. The OG was 1.051 and 3 days ago I did a reading and it was 1.014. One thing I forgot to do was Aeration to the wort. I hope I did not screw it up. Thoughts? Also am I ready to bottle? Thanks guys!!:D

I just got done making my first all grain 5gal batch. I have an immersion chiller that I used, I am in the North East and this time of year my tap water is VERY cold. It took almost 1.5 hours to bring the temp down to 80 degrees...that's a lot of water!. Any ideas on how to reduce this time...

What are some of you guys/gals using as a HLT? I am putting together a 3 tier gravity system. I have the cooler (48 quart with manifold) and a 15gal brew SS pot. I only have for now one burner. I seen some people use a cooler as a HLT. Just need some ideas. Thanks!
