Brewed the Deception Cream Stout, rapid fermentation, finished quick. Did I underpitch?

so, the proscribed fermentation time was a month and you're worried that it's not finished in 25% of the suggested time?

Natural gas quick coupling hose for outdoor brewing?

I brewed with NG on my KAB-6 this way for... at least a year. I had hard pipe plumbed in and now no longer use that, but it worked perfectly fine for me. If I wanted to, or had a friend over, we could hook that back up and also do multiple batches at once. It worked fine for me.

Brew Bucket 3 piece ball valve?

yeah, I will take pictures shortly, just tried removing it again, and it's not happening, I'm not crazy, it's just pressure fitted in there. Short of beating it out with a chopstick as a punch, it's not coming out.

Brew Bucket 3 piece ball valve?

I understand your position. I am only looking to clean my ssbt valve, not really interested in debating which is better - that's all a preference thing, I just like being able to clean them!

Brew Bucket 3 piece ball valve?

I have 3 piece valves, and understand the pieces involved, as well as the rotation for removal of the ball thing that's going on. I have taken the face off of the 2 piece ssbt one, the image here shows as far as I've been able to get them (the bucket valves) apart, but the ball and nylon pieces...

Brew Bucket 3 piece ball valve?

Ahh, gotcha. This is about the tiny 2 piece ball valves that they ship with the brew buckets. What do you mean an allen key to unthread the nylon bushing? Again, any advice you have, I'm all ears, I've tried to get them to come apart, but short of literally ripping the bushing out, I have been...

Brew Bucket 3 piece ball valve?

Please take a photo of one of the ssbrewtech ball valves disassembled. I also have 2 of the 7 gallon buckets, I've taken both valves apart, neither of them will release the nylon washer holding the ball in, nor the ball, regardless of how the knob/lever is turned. This is my concern/complaint, I...

Brew Bucket 3 piece ball valve?

The ball doesn't fall out, the white plastic washer that forms the seat for the ball can't escape the threads. Regardless of how you turn the blue knob, you can't get the ball and washer out. I have the 3 piece ball valves on my kettle, and mash tun, and swear by them. I bought a 3/8 3-piece...

Natural gas brew stand - 23 tip burner to 10 tip conversion build.

I bought this burner, but due to negative opinion about it, I may pass on installing it. What would you suggest that can boil 6-15 gallons in < 30 minutes, and can be regulated easily once at boil? It needs to be natural gas, and beyond that, as long as it can get my wort up to temp in a...

Pennsylvania 4 Corny Kegs for sale

I have 4 corny kegs for sale. I bought a lot of 6 and don't need all 6, just wanted 2 more. I'm selling them at $45 for 1, $85 for 2, or $160 for all 4. I need to make space, brewing hobby has taken over the garage. All are clean and hold pressure, just don't need 8 of 'em. I'm in Plymouth...

Pennsylvania Trade 2 corny kegs for march pump

I'm in Plymouth Meeting. I'm really looking for a march pump, but I'd be willing to sell the pair for $85.

    brew day from hell

I had a rough one last time I brewed. First AG weighing my own grain, I assumed I could use a bathroom scale and just subtract the weight of the bucket. The theory makes sense, but it didn't work out in reality. Then while milling, I got a chunk of plastic or something in my mill, so it wasn't...
