    I wanted to wait until I was finished until I posted in here. Freezer is a 14.8 GE. I decided to put a 6" collar so I could fit my 10# tank on the hump or a fermenter. I will probably install a stout tap in the middle later this year. Cheers!

    How long for a Counterflow Chiller

    ~25ft is pretty standard. I just used the one I made (25ft) and it dropped the wort temp down to <2 degrees of the hose temp. Bobby M's tutorial is pretty straightforward if you are making your own.
