Will this fitting work for a bottom drain on a keg?

I'm curious if anybody may be able to tell if the following tri-clover/sanitary fitting will work with a keg with a bottom drain. See the link an Ebay seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271097558798?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Thoughts?

Bottom Drain - Sanke Valve on Top or Welded into the Bottom

Huaco, I'm thinking about putting bottom drains on all three kegs of my rig. Did you end up completing the bottom drains on yours? If so, I'm curious how it's working. What did you use as a screen for the BK? Pros and cons for all three kettles?

    Bottom Drain - Worth It?

Thanks for the input! What do you have in the MLT to keep grain out of the drain? Screen? Or? Also, as for the HLT, it just seemed to me that it's always easy to add water to insure that the side pickup is covered, whereas it's harder to do with the BK and thus you run the risk of leaving...

Re: Bottom Drains - Worth It?

Okay, I'm converting everything over to electric (e-HERMS). I just scored three "new" kegs, which I'll convert over to keggles. So, should I go with bottom drains? Is it worth it? I see that Bobby M has a bottom drain package, so it seems easy enough. But is it worth the extra money and effort...

Re: Yet another question about fuses - help!

I have another basic question. I ended up with some Bussmann fuse holders. I'm working on getting the fuses for one of PJ's diagrams that calls for 1 amp fuses (and one 10 amp fuse for pumps) for the PID, etc. Given the Bussmann fuse holder, I found this Bussman 1 amp fuse...

Question about fuses with PJ's diagrams

PJ and others, I've attached the diagram by PJ that I'll be using. There's a 10 amp fuse that goes to the pumps, and then there are several 1 amp fuses wired in here and there: one for the E-stop, etc. I'm curious as to why 1 amp and not larger amperage. TC

Question about fuses with PJ's diagrams

Okay, this could be a dumb questios. But, I'm using one of PJ's diagrams. It looks like he suggests using a 1 amp fuse in several places along the writing route. But, to my mind, a 1 amp fuse would blow constantly given that pumps, etc., are going to use over 1 amp. If so, does the "1" in...

Source for THWN wire (not just THHN)?

I'm having a hard time finding THWN (in part water resistant) wire. I can easily find THHN wire, but I'd like the water resistance feature. Anybody have a good source for THWN wire? Thanks, TC

Excellent!!! I haven't been a subscriber to BYO for a while (although that changed recently), so I don't have access to an issue from 2012. Consequently, I really appreciate you posting the recipe! Thanks, Todd

Help me understand a terminal strip/block

Okay. So is the best way to run the four wires into the panel to use a contactor as stated above and use an on/off switch?

Help me understand a terminal strip/block

Okay, things are making sense to me now. However, this last comment about using an "EPO switch to shunt a small amount of current to ground the and trip the GFCI" is not making sense. What is that?
