I can only speak to propane doing the same top off volume. No worries if you keep an eye on every hot break and hop additions (adjusting flame as needed). Otherwise.......boil over!

I have the hellfire and the Spike+ 30 gal. They do well together. I am very happy! BTW, Boil time is close to the same as my older 15 gal kettle.

Placed CO2 on conical tonight. Oops I forgot to dump the yeast. Decided to dump now since the pressure is only at 3psi. Did not take into consideration the 2in pipe and tank pressure would disrupt my night. Trub, yeast, and beer all over the place... Don’t do that.

Brewing is 80% cleaning, 15% sanitation and 5% making sugar water. (Others have said something similar) Three biggest game changers for me was 1) chill plate post boil, 2) fermentation temp control and 3) spray bottle for sanitizer. You do not need fancy expensive equipment to brew award...

Are you sure it’s still mfg oils? Have you acid washed or tried to clean with Bar Keepers or PBW?

This has never crossed my mind. Do you place your boil kettle on top of a potbelly stove or fire pit? Have you ever experience any change in beer flavor?
