    Brewers friend mash thickness

My computer recently crashed so I'm currently without access to beersmith, been using brewers friend on my tablet. My question is even though I've set it to metric, it still lists mash thickness as qt/lb. I'm not sure if this is a glitch because if I set it at say 2.5 which is where I'd want it...

    Leaking wort chiller

2 points under, I didn't really calculate much more just wanted to make sure it came out to something. I started with distilled and built a water profile but I dont think so? There's some bitterness on the finish but nothing that makes it unenjoyable and could also credit that to some hop...

    Leaking wort chiller

Itll clear up, only been in the keg 4 days now but tastes good and i expect it to get better. Got nothing else on tap right now or wouldn't be cracking into this. Goes to show as long as your clean beer is almost invincible lol

    Leaking wort chiller

Just realized my wort chiller was leaking while I was chilling my beer and lost all volume I had boiled off with fresh water from the tap. Any suggestions? Or just dump it all and start again. I could boil it down again but I would lose all hops.

US Safale 05 Attenuation of 90%?

I consistently have us05 attenuate in the 90 percentile. Not sure why. For example tomorrow I'm kegging a kviek hazy that attenuated to 80 percent and an Irish red that attenuated to 92 with us05. Not surprising for the red had a temp drop during mash bringing it down to 148 so it went to...

    Cararoma brunwater

Would cararoma go under Crystal or roast. I read that cara- should be crystal but but the dark colour of cararoma means it comes up as a red box if I don't set it to roasted malt. Also drastically changes ph prediction depending on which I choose Edit:didn't convert ebc to lovibond when...

    Beer in lines

Put a beer on tap, pulled a couple .. figured it wasn't ready want to let it sit a bit. Should I leave the lines attached? How long is too long to have beer sitting in the lines.
