    What are you drinking now?

Didn't feel like having this for Easter Sunday, so saved it for Monday. Aged HB Baltic Porter bottled March 10th 2021. May be getting a bit past it's peak, but still tastes great.

I'm not familiar with the term Black Cap, what is it? If it's Blackberries, I did the same with my daughter a few years back and made a wheat beer with them. Anyhow, your HB looks great!

    What are you drinking now?

    What are you drinking now?

Drinking my Chocolate Cherry Imperial Milk Stout. Despite having the longest name ever, and being a semi-successful first attempt, it's actually good. The brewday had its difficulties, which were lessons learned. Also, in hindsight, I should have used tart cherries instead of sweet as you can...

    What are you drinking now?

This time of year makes a great reason to drink the beer left to age. Enjoyed a HB Barley Wine I bottled on 23 April 2020 with the Bacon Boulangère my wife made for Christmas Lunch/Dinner. The Barley Wine is 11kg Maris Otter and 2kg Carapils. Hopped with Apollo for 99 IBU. WLP-099 Yeast. OG...

Out of curiosity, how did you use the cantaloupe for the beer? late addition? In the FV? Also, would you make it again?

    What are you drinking now?

Moved house to live by the sea side and have yet to set-up my brewing kit. Today broke-out one of my aged beers that went with the move. 8.6% Baltic Porter bottled 25 November 2021. It's aged well and the taste has mellowed a bit since first bottled. Not sharp at all for the ABV.

    What are you drinking now?

HB India Pale Lager. 5.9% at 51 IBU. Saflager S-23 at 14°C (57°)F for a few weeks. Lots of late hopping, but no dry hopping as I wanted it clear. Malt was half Pilsner, half Munich Type 1. Used Idaho 7 hops for the first time. Tastes great. I generally avoid new fangled words, but it does...

    What are you drinking now?

I try to only post pics of homebrew and try not to buy beer based-upon it's name, but an exception was made in this case. Apart from the cloudiness and yeast taste, "I like it."

    What are you drinking now?

Back on the HB now. Drinking my Marzen. I didn't do a D-rest and instead just let it sit for a while. Simple, and nice. Also, really really clear after only a week of lagering.
