Going to brew a Chocolate cherry stout. ..it comes with a cherry extract but I heard it could taste like cough syrup. How would I do cherry juice instead? 5gal batch how much cherry juice and what kind?
Was planning on using a clarifier in 2nd fermentar to clear it up..leaving it bottled for 2 weeks sound about right...sorry just a newbie my first brew!
My plan is 1st fermentar 1 week...2nd fermentar 1 week...bottle and wait 2 weeks. Advice on how that sounds from brewers that have made this. Does this sound ok?:mug:
My first brew was today and wanted to know if I did this right.....when pouring into fermentar out of pot I poured through a strainer and left all the junk in pot out of my brew....was that correct? The brew was a truebrew octoberfest ale.:mug:
