    Dry Hopping Contraption

I'm getting ready to buy one. Saw this at the AHA convention. http://www.homebrewstuff.com/10-hop-randall.html I spoke with the owner who suggested using it between to kegs to extract the aroma and some flavor. Fill up one keg, and then use C0-2 to push it through the Randall and into...

New South Central Pa grain buy

I'm ordering rice hulls to use in my roggen next time. Damn slow runoff last night, that rye is gummy and definately slows down the sparge. Beer was very actively fermenting this morning though. Had to bring the carboys in the house, shop is just to warm right now.

They do offer Gambrinus ESB Malt which I've read is suppose to be similar to Marris Otter.

Witbier Blue Balls Belgian Wit (Blue Moon Clone)

Forgot how active a fermenter this yeast strain is. Cleaned up the carboys and airlocks that the yeast came through. Next time I'll use 6 instead of 5 carboys for 24 gal.

Witbier Blue Balls Belgian Wit (Blue Moon Clone)

The cold conditioning settles out the yeast towards the end of the keg. Shake the keg around to suspend the yeast again. Same thing can happen with a Hefeweizen.

Witbier Blue Balls Belgian Wit (Blue Moon Clone)

Brewed this again last Fri. I love the fact that I can brew 24 gal and only need 31 lbs of grain. It is a very easy beer to make and a lot of people enjoy drinking it this time of year. I also like that this can be a ten day beer from making to drinking:)

I had the non geared version before but prefer the geared one. The adjustment is on just one end as mentioned you couldn't be adjusting the geared end. Crushing 37 lbs of grain tonight, I'll post pics later tonight.
