Just wondering if anyone here works in a brewery, if so in what capacity?
i would love to one day work in a brewery of a brew pub, just dont know if im going to be able to afford to do so.
I like the fact that everything is accessible in the rafters, plus it would have been a very low ceiling. keeps it a little more rough looking, which i like.
I did get them and they did at first but after they got cold and the pressure stabilized they work great. i would put them closer to the ball lock rather than the faucet next time though. hope this helps
I havent researched a fermentation chamber yet, so i know nothing about it but that would be the next step. and yes a stand is defiantly in the future, just have to save the cash
i have made the family aware of the situation in that room, it is sacred ground.
now i have to set it up and get some electrical work done, hang the hood and fan and get the gas line installed.
i used just regular floor patch from Lowes
I have not fired up the burner yet, cant wait to, but i have to get the gas line installed and just waiting for funds to do so.
will be posting pick of the floor soon
i have a recipe book that my wife gave me for christmas, it is The Homebrewers recipe guide, by patrick higgins. im looking through the recipies and it has amounts for extract in some recipies but i cant find anywhere if it is DME or LME. could it be either?
Thanks for all the well wishes and I will keep the pictures coming. The room is all cleaned , tile is in the house just waiting for the windows; hopefully they get installed this week
thats what i thought. but every time i bring it up someone says something about how it is dangerous. if it really is dangerous can someone give tell me why specifically. also the gas line is being installed by a licensed professional who actually works for the gas company.
