    Pumkin Ale

I am in the same boat. But I am thinking bake 2 15oz cans of pumpkin puree and steep it with the grains or boil it with the hops. Really I don't know... So I'm curious to hear the responses you get.

    Pumpkin ale

How long did you primary for? And wouldn't it be better to add it to the secondary to pick up more of the flavors? Just my quick thoughts.

    Pumpkin ale

Another MSU fan here. Go GREEN! I too am looking at a fall type beer... However I have a kit from Midwest for a Pumpkin ale, and it says for me to add my own pumpkin. Is anyone familiar with canned pumpkin? I've read that some people bake theirs for 20-30 minutes before adding to wort...

When do I add the Pumpkin??

That's awesome. Thanks. I just got a Midwest extract kit in the mail for a Pumpkin Ale. It says "you provide the pumpkin" So I am just trying to figure out how to do that. :)

How much of the canned pumpkin did you use, and what temp did you bake it at for 20 minutes?
