    This "HEAT DOME" %$#@ing sucks!!!!!!!

I hear you Pivzavod, it has been a brutal weekend (relatively) here in Queens. There is no way I'm brewing tomorrow in my tiny apartment...unless there is a huge thunderstorm tonight, and then it's on tomorrow!:rockin: I've got a few Belgians bubbling fermenting away and an Applewein that...

Control Products Dual Relay $60 Shipped on Amazon

First, thanks for the reply and the link :mug: I'm hoping to wire it to turn my keezer on/off and keep a 5 gal fermenter at the right temp for lagering. I know (think?) what I'm describing only requires a single-stage controller, but for the price I thought it couldn't hurt to have the...

Control Products Dual Relay $60 Shipped on Amazon

Hi, Long-time lurker here. I've finally made the plunge into a dual-stage temperature controller and figured I'd pass on what looks like a good deal...

    GE Spacemaker GMR04BANWW 4.3 CF Conversion...maybe?

I'm sure this has been said a million times before on this board, but it wasn't as obvious to me as it should have been, so maybe it will help someone else down the road: if you ever buy one of these models where you have to bend the freezer tray, be careful! Last night I bent it back and the...

    GE Spacemaker GMR04BANWW 4.3 CF Conversion...maybe?

OK cool, I'll try that. Am hoping to get 2 cornies in there and run a shank through the back to connect to a 20# CO2...we'll see! I'll post pics.

    GE Spacemaker GMR04BANWW 4.3 CF Conversion...maybe?

I wondered if that was the only alternative :( Oh well, I should have waited longer on CL for the right model to come up but it's so hard drinking warm beer :D Thanks for the advice. :mug:

    GE Spacemaker GMR04BANWW 4.3 CF Conversion...maybe?

This thread is a continuation of an https://www.homebrewtalk.com/search.php?searchid=8363810 earlier thread where I narrowly avoided buying the wrong fridge to convert, thanks to several awesome members of this board. So I went ahead and picked up the fridge mentioned at the end of that...

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

OK last question of the day, any thoughts from the group on this one, a GE 4.3 cubic foot model? http://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/GMR04BANWW.html?mv_pc=ggsku2&gclid=CJX0t7fRv6cCFYHc4AodAjnhAg Here's a good exploded view of the unit, it looks like it should work right...

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

Yeah, I read your message as I was on the subway platform to go pick up the fridge. Crisis barely avoided! I've been looking on Google for the elusive 4912 but it seems the shipping costs alone exceed the cost of the fridge. Is there a particular site to hunt for them on?

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

Wow, crisis averted (barely). Thanks! I'd be lost without this site.

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

Oh, that is a really really good idea! Thank you! :rockin: I'll post some photos if it works out.

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I'd have to lug these on the subway, and my only corny is currently full :) Now this may sound crazy, but looking at this high-resolution dealer image of the unit do you think it will fit 2 cornies...

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually planning to buy it from a Craigslist ad tonight, so I can't test it out with the cornies until after. I had a call with the seller last night and they said the interior horizontal dimension is 16". I think this is exactly the width of 2 ball-lock cornies...

    Sanyo 3720 Conversion...easy-ish?

Hi, I've been lurking for a while. I want to say hi (I know there's a thread for that...I'll get to it...eventually) and ask if anyone has converted this fridge for a tower and two 5# cornys. I searched but couldn't find anything for this model. My plan is to run a shank out for my 20# CO2...
