The one big difference is Brewer's Grains is a 50# bag and Briess Insta is only 25#. As far as difference in flavor, I can't attest, I have never used either. I am, however, purchasing a 25# sack of Briess InstaGrains Yellow Corn Flakes.

Secondary means to transfer the beer from your primary fermenter, carboy/bucket, into a second carboy/bucket off the yeast cake. Your keg can also be a secondary. Some people feel you don't need to secondary. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. I like to cold crash my beers...
