I think my problem was to high an RPM drill. I Picked up a low RPM Porter Cable drill and ran water over the bit and had no issues cutting the hole. The high RPM drill heated the bit way to quick.

I purchased some ½” couplers to weld in some legally purchased kegs. The outer diameter of the couplings is 1.027”. I have a hydraulic hole punch that will cut a very clean 1.115” hole. Will this size hole be too big for a welder to properly weld into my kegs? The welder would have to fill...

I am currently using an auto spare on my RIMs system and love it. I recirculate through it and it has never clogged.

I have used ranco's for years in the breweries I have worked in. Every 10 or so that I would use I would come across one that would die for no apparent reason. I would return them to the supply house I purchased them from and get them replaced. Hope you figure out what is wrong with yours.
