Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

no idea.. never heard of mamajuana before. but since you asked, it would be a completely different beer. not even remotely close to what this beer was designed for. If you do it, please post the results good or bad. That's the best thing about home brewing, you can brew anything you want. If it...

Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

mashing for 60 minutes will generally achieve complete conversion. The way to test is an iodine test. if unconverted starches are in the wort (a single drop on a piece of white chalk) will turn dark purple/black when iodine is added. when brew using BIAB I mash for 90 minutes, when I use my...

first.... add the water to the mash tun, then add grain and mix well. second, use what ever cheap honey you want. you won't get any flavor from it as it's simply there to boost the ABV. honey added at flame out will be pasteurized and sanitized. third. CONGRATS on making the jump to All...

Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

with all those changes it won't be like the beer I designed... it'll still be a beer you made and will probably turn out to be a pretty good beer (the best beers are the ones we tend to screw up). RDWHAHB

Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

Oatmeal Stout Dwarven Warrior Oatmeal Stout

its not required since they don't (shouldn't) ask for the recipe to enter a competition. If they do ask for the recipe, question them to see if they are planning on using the recipes at a brewery (have seen a couple small breweries do this exact thing to build their recipe database instead of...

    Brewmasters Warehouse

really hate to see BMW close their doors. They were my LHBS and always had what I needed to buy. The employees there were the best and they truly hated seeing the posts in this thread (and others) because there was nothing they could do. I hope Ed makes good on what he owes to customers that got...

Oatmeal Stout Dwarven Warrior Oatmeal Stout

The results for the 2015 Peach State brew off are in... there were 465 entries in total... Dwarven Warrior took home 3rd for the oatmeal stout category (combined with dry stout). Dry Stout is a tough one to be paired with so I'm happy with the result. once I get the score sheet I'll be able to...
