    Kegging for the first time

Yeah I just saw those actually. I picked up a ball lock and it should be in the mail today. Maybe I'll check those out though. Nice price

    wheat beer w/ mullberries?

I recently did a mulberry pale ale. I found a clone of DFH's Aprihop. And after some tweaking with a guy at the local brew store, we came up with a recipe for a Mulberry Pale Ale. It turned out... eh. Not terrible. But mulberries are quite tart. He also suggested using strawberries and...

    Kegging for the first time

Awesome, I think I've figured out the plan then. I'll come back and update when everything gets kegged and squared away. Perhaps I'll have some questions in the process. Thanks!

    Kegging for the first time

It's actually 1 oz centennial and 1/2 oz chinook. That's per AHS kit. I am thinking about putting 1 oz of whole leaf centennial into the keg for dispensing. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not though. Can't wait to be back in KY!

    Kegging for the first time

Mr Duna, couldn't help but notice you are from Louisville? I'm a native Kentuckian myself and that's where I'll be taking this keg when it's all done. To the motherland! I have a friend who is having a birthday get together. I'm leaving Cleveland on Wednesday (kegging on Tuesdayish) and...

    Kegging for the first time

First of all, thanks for all the input. It's helped me a lot so far. Now- I'll be kegging in a week or so. I'm a little nervous, although I'm sure I shouldn't be. What things should I not do that would put me in danger? I've heard many different answers to how to carbonate a keg. After...

    Kegging for the first time

I wound up getting all my stuff from Beverage Elements. What I got comes with 5 feet of 3/16" beverage line. What causes shorter lines to give off foam?

    Stone/Baird/Ishii Green Tea IPA Wanted

Also- I'm willing to mail my part of the trade out first and wait until receipt of the package for you to ship your part. I say this because I'm new here and I'm sure there are tons of idiots that come in here and try to scam people.

    Kegging for the first time

I've officially been swayed from pin to ball. So that leads me down another road, Keg Connection seems to sell at some pretty decent prices. Only problem is I don't really know much about hoses and miscellaneous accessories. I see they sell a reconditioned 5 gall ball lock keg for $50 and a 5...

    Stone/Baird/Ishii Green Tea IPA Wanted

I am in Cleveland, OH and this brew will never make it up this way. I saw it online and it really struck me as something interesting. I found an online store that sells it but I am NOT paying 5 bucks a 12 oz plus 13 dollars shipping. Anyway, if anybody could round up a bottle or two I'd be...

    Kegging for the first time

So I've decided to make the jump into kegging, and I know there are plenty of threads here on HBT about this. I've done a lot of research on the topic and I think I've found a pretty good deal. I just want the bare necessities for a 5 gallon batch. No need for a kegerator or anything like...

    KY brewer

Thanks guys. I'm gonna do a lot of reading and see if I can't understand some processes a little better. Other than just clicking on the main forum tabs, is there another place I should go to read some definitive information?

    KY brewer

Hey everyone just wanted to introduce myself. I'm kinda new to brewing myself, although I've been around the elder brewers for a while. And since I'm away from home (Kentucky) I figure this is the best place to go. Here shortly I'm gonna try to start up some all grain brew. Gonna try and...
