    Can't get bottles clean

Just don't let TSP get into your septic system if you have one. It works great, but it's banned from household products because it kills septic systems. BTW, TSP is great for washing bugs off the front of your car.....

    Can't get bottles clean

When in that bind I used cascade dish washer soap, at a high concentration in hot water, let it soak a day, then the bottle brush did the rest.

    Extra Thick O-Rings?

even two dimes thick could not get the lid to go thru the hole far enough to seal on the o-ring. It took a bigger diameter o-ring to get it done.

    Extra Thick O-Rings?

I have been using the silicone ones from McMaster Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/117/3457/=f6yikm no 9396k926 they work fantastic for 6 out of my 7 kegs. The 7th has a lid that doesnt fit thru the hole. The williams one filled the gap very well.

    Extra Thick O-Rings?

Eyeballing the comparison pic I'd say ~ 5/16" which is about .31. McMaster has nothing, or MSC, or Graingers. We may have some 5/16ths stock at work. I may give making a couple a try. Thanx for the assist.

    Extra Thick O-Rings?

What is the thickness of this o-ring? With Williams's price I'd like to see if McMaster Carrr has a 5 pack.

Taking a keg to a party

If...... your keg is 1/2 empty it is 1/2 full of CO2. If the pressure is at 12psi, the pressure at the last pour will be at 6psi. (Ideal gas law, PV = PV). I have done this it works great. It does not work for a full keg, but even almost works for a 3/4 full keg.

Foamy Beer from year old keg

does it taste good, if so, probably just too much CO2 in it. Vent all the pressure, a few times across a few days. Then recarb. AKA (+1 vent the pressure and just re carb it)

How much left in the keg?

As another engineer, agreed, frekkin epic. A home made wheatstone bridge may be less expensive than the board. Another approach might be a home made coarse resolution linear variable differential transformer on said dip tube... My approach might be more one of pressure decay reading during a...

    keggings 101 help please...

I once bought a bunch for the club needing cleaning and rings for $25 each. I'm telling you, it took about 6 hrs to scrub them well on the outside and inside. With the cost of the o-rings, one tappet and one releif valve, and one is a total loss,,,,, I'd say $41.00 is a great great deal for...
