    Corny Keg Vs. Bottling

So once in the keg you do not need any priming sugar while its conditioning?

    Corny Keg Vs. Bottling

I'm very interested in purchasing a corney keg, I had a few questions. SO as apposed to bottling, you siphon your brew into the keg and add CO2, but do you then store it? Does it need to stay cold? Do you always have to have your CO2 tank attached? How soon is it able to be served? I know you...

    My next brew idea

Since I'm really new to all this I wanted to try different styles before going full grain and cooking. So I'm considering Coopers Dark Ale can, but I want to use 3lbs of DME instead of their "brew enhancer", and possibly some honey. Any advice?

    My first brew

I went ahead and took your advice and covered it with a zip up sweater. Also heres a picture of the airlock. It has not started to bubble but almost all the water has been pushed from one side to the other. Any reason why?

    Considering second fermenter

I currently own a Coopers Brew Home Kit and have been reading about secondary fermentation. I am curious to purchase a 6 gallon glass carboy but I have a few questions: How the heck do you get the beer siphoned into the glass carboy without affecting the beer or spilling it? Whats a good...

    Advice on pasteurized my DME

Just dump it all into a large pot at 140 degrees and stir for ten minutes, then add to the fermenter?

    Coopers Kit and DME

I'm still a little confused here, from the directions in the Coopers kit, I just need to heat up the coopers can, add it to the fermenter with boiled water, and add the DME instead of the sugar pack?

    Coopers Kit and DME

So I really don't need to "cook" the DME, just add it with hot water to my fermenter after I add the Coopers can?

    Coopers Kit and DME

I purchased 3lbs (1.36kg) of Pilsen light Dried Malt Extract, and I plan on using it instead of the brewers sugar the Coopers kit comes with. Should I just use the entire bag? And do I add it at once or slowly as I add the water?

Brand new to brewing, I have some newbie questions

Hello everybody! I have a few questions about my first brew I will begin this week. First off I purchased the Cooper's Home Brew Kit, after reading it was good for beginners. After a little bit of research, I went ahead and purchased a 3lb bag of "Pilsen Light Dry Malt Extract" from my...
