After 7 months of pico brewing it's now confirmed I am missing a part! LOL It's just a hose clamp but I've had wort go all over the place once before and found the hose disconnected. Never realized it was suppose to be clamped. Today I heard it pop off 5 minutes from the end of brewing and then...

I am having the same problem. I did get the Pledge Manager on the 19th, and I signed in right away. But I've heard nothing more and no explanation of how it's going to work? Will we have a constant credit balance on our account? Will it be tied to Brew House somehow to know when we've done two...

the only aggravation is that there is no phone support, only via their email. This takes a lot of time since I am not sitting at my computer all day waiting for messages. Diagnostics could have been done in one phone call rather than 2 days of emails.

Shuttle pump has to be replaced... they are shipping the part out. Anyone else having failures? This was during a deep clean, water didn't get hot, kept saying it was priming the steam pump. Finally it came up with an error message to contact support.

It works fine for me that it's dry and I've brewed a lot of packs. Most recently Belle of the Ball, OG on the label 1.069, my Tilt read 1.068 (close enough for me). And the chickens like that dry grain, they eat that first.

what are the rest of you getting as shipping times on the packs. I placed an order on the third figuring they would ship on Monday the 5th. It didn't ship until Tuesday afternoon on the 6th and won't arrive via UPS until the 13th. Wonder if I can get them to ship via the post office Priority...

About to start brewing again. Delivered a gross of lambs in the past month (yep 144) so I can go back to brewing and thought I better catch up on the yeast situation. Glad I did. The last brew was Tweaties which I am drinking right now with a level tsp of 05. I don't have the after taste problem...

The Pico wasn't functioning properly and I am only assuming that because it kept repriming the pump more than the normal water saturated the cartridge... it opened at a corner seam. I can't remember which corner. But there was grain in the step filter and even in the little outlet of the...

Someone remind me every 3 months or so that brewing, even with the Pico takes time! I had a real mess with the last batch, Stingray IPA, the cartridge ruptured and there was grain everywhere. Had to disassemble the Pico and even the ball lock connectors had hulls in them. But I had the brand new...

Anyone know the guys at Tilt. I need to be able to ask Alexa for the reading when I am getting my weather report for the day. Wouldn't that be nice. :D

Ever bite an unripe persimmon? It wasn't quite that bad, but it was real close. Sucked the moisture right out of my mouth! That's what I call astringent, is astringent something else?

Deaf Turtle is fine this time. Last batch I dumped because it was so astringent. There is no astringency to this batch at all. So something was wrong with the grains in that pack. I still have a weird very slight after taste and I am beginning to think it's the hops because Dead Guy didn't have...

how did you find that out? I've been following their Facebook pages the best I can and I've not seen a thing about that site! Interesting brew belt... and they certainly know my email address because I've contacted them enough times.

dang, had another bad day of brewing... took over an hour before the Pico finally kicked in and heated the water. It was only after I sent an email that it started. It was pumping, this time it was actually registering on the Pico website but it wasn't heating, stuck on 71. I even shut the thing...

we did determine the issue wasn't between my router and the pico, it's somewhere after that and since I use Verizon as my IP who knows what happens! Ethernet wouldn't have helped this problem.

I FF at 70 (might be 73 in the keg) 9 days, dry hopped 4. Cold crashed 2 and only keg carbed for 2 before I was tasting it. So not a lot different. But I guess enough. It got worse the longer it was carbing, after about 6 days I dumped it.

it's not foam in the keg it foamed in the Pico. Foamed all over the top of the stepfilter and down the sides of the Pico. Foamed enough that there was liquid in the little drip tray at the front of the machine.
