    Measuring water and wort volumes

I have been reading a great deal lately, like many others, I want to move to AG. With that in mind, I have been collecting equipment and advice in roughly equal amounts. How do many of you measure your liquid volumes, a sightglass while nice, is not in my recent economic forecast. It seems if I...

    1/2" nipple in rubbermaid MLT

I have searched the forum, I have shopped on-line, I have slogged across the net. Will a 1/2" nipple work in a 10 gal rubbermaid cooler? I see Fly uses 3/8" x 1 1/2" nipple, but the sellers seem to sell 1/2". I would like all stainless, so I ask again will a half inch nipple fit without drilling...

How Much Will You Pay For Beer?

My favorite lunch spot when ice fishing in Wisconsin is Mr. Ed's just outside of Wild Rose. Top shelf drinks... $2.50! It takes six drinks to use 1 can of pop. Three cocktails each, 2 cheeseburgers, two orders of fries, 23 bucks. I love Wisconsin ! Jim

Worst Commercial Beer You've Ever Had?

Does anyone remember Wisconsin Club Light? This was an awful beer, but like most of the awful beers of our youth, it's redeeming value was price. Circa 1981 a case of returnable long necks was 3.50 ! The deposit on the bottles was almost as much as the beer. If you were stupid enough to hold...

    When to Keg/When to Drink

I have an American ale in the keg that did not have as large of hop nose as I wanted. So I dry hopped it in the keg with pellets in a ss tea ball. It really seemed to bring out the hop face smack. Cheers
