Pressurized Closed Loop Corny Keg Fermenting

Wow, that's ingenious...Could you do hop extract in the same way? To get around opening the keg for dry hopping...

Cleaning multiple keg lines at once

So, it's been two months and I haven't seen these go back in stock. Are these going to be offered ever again? @Bobby_M

    Clawhammer 240v system

Pricing makes absolutely zero sense...$850 for the 120v version should translate to no more than $1,000 for this 240v kit. Think they saw some other options enter the market at some high price points and are trying to leverage off of that.

Going From Collar-Mounted Taps to a Draft Tower on a Keezer

Lucky enough to have this thing on casters in the garage. Already have to pull it away from the wall to get inside it.

New Mark II Pump - 12 GPM (65 Watt)

I mean, for roughly the same price, or less, you can just get it from Williams and it won't be that odd aqua color. Give it a year or so and I'm sure we'll see those 65w versions drop in price and become available on the direct market.

Definitely let us know what you find out from that seller.

New Mark II Pump - 12 GPM (65 Watt)

Yeah, I'm surprised the pricing is so high on AE, especially when we know the price savings for the 5gpm model.

Going From Collar-Mounted Taps to a Draft Tower on a Keezer

The collar needs to be replaced with a thicker version regardless, both lumber and insulation. The reason for the condensation currently is the cutouts in the insulation for the shanks coming into the interior, where I've got a small fan pushing air upwards towards to keep the taps cool. If I...

    Tower Shanks w/o Barb

@IslandLizard I created another thread based on the build I'm thinking of doing (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/going-from-collar-mounted-taps-to-a-draft-tower-on-a-keezer.655282/). I feel like you may have some more great input for what's asked over there, just wanted to link it here.

Going From Collar-Mounted Taps to a Draft Tower on a Keezer

TL;DR - What I'm wondering is, has anyone gone to a tower setup from collar-mounted taps and regretted it, or noticed some significant downsides? Hey Everyone, I've got a Danby chest freezer that I've been using as a keezer for about a year now. I built a collar and mounted my three taps...

    Tower Shanks w/o Barb

Any ideas on a similar enough type of tubing? Basically looking for a lined, non-PVC, flexible enough to go on a barb variant? I know that Ultra Barrier Silver has been recommended as an upgrade from vinyl lines on here and other places...

    Clawhammer V2 BIAB

I wouldn't say they're cheap, for a basket you're looking at $150+ (plus shipping). With that brace, you're still holding the basket up with one hand and placing the brace with the other. Most folks find the individual hooks easier to manage. Utah Biodiesel used to make a basket with built-in...

    Tower Shanks w/o Barb

Agreed on keeping the bridges short, just wondering how much do you think an inch of BevLex could impact the system? An inch is like 1/120th of a typical draft system using vinyl/pvc tubing, even less for Accuflex length systems. Obviously we all want to reduce those impacts, since we're using...

    Tower Shanks w/o Barb

I understand your idea now with the fittings. My worry there is that PVC line isn't meant to be used in a female JG fitting because of possible leaking (known leaks with gas side). Just figured using a barbed connection for PVC line was better for application. But regardless, either way could...

    Tower Shanks w/o Barb

I'd have nightmares about using the JG fitting to anchor the shank to the tower lmao. Can already imagine seeing the tower cap explode off like a covered geyser, followed with a keg's worth of pressurized beer. Just went out an measured the two fittings together. From the base of the BSPP...
