    Anyone know what this is?

Do a google search for this "Large Italian Fusti Dispenser". Most hold a few gallons, but you can get them up to 10 gallons. With some work to the top, it could make an excellent mashtun.

    Stuck/Screwed up Auber SYL-2352

Here is what the manual says: 8.1 Display orAL This is an input error message. The possible reasons are: the sensor is not connected correctly; the input setting is wrong type; or the sensor is defective. In this case, the instrument terminates its control function automatically, and the output...

    Removing painted labels

I used muratic acid diluted with water at a 4:1 ratio. Just make sure to add the acid to the water. Use in a well ventilated area with gloves as this stuff can burn your skin. Rinse with clean water and any residue will come off with the green scotch brite. I purchase the muratic acid in paint...

    Auber 2352 - Alarm Question

Pin 1 is the input for the internal relay. Pin 13 is normally open contact and pin 14 is normally closed. So power goes to pin 1, pin 13 goes to the switch and from the switch to the alarm. Reading that you did a continuity test and there is nothing in alarmed or unalarmed you might have a bad...

Wiring guys please help with first control panel!?!

I understand what you have. Couple of more questions. 1. What guage is the extension cord? Should be 12 (20amp) or 14 (15 amp) gauge. 2. Look at the element, it should have the wattage stamped on the plastic end. 3. Are you pluging this all into a wall outlet with GFCI? Is it 15 or 20 amps...

Wiring guys please help with first control panel!?!

I am assuming you are only using 110V. What do the current switches control? Do you want the GFCI to interrupt the entire system or just the pump? If you want the entire system the the GFCI outlet needs to be rated for 20amps. Once I know what you have, I and others might be able to assist...

    Draftmark Tap System

Looking through the website, they use air to push the beer. But they say that the air does not come in contact with the beer. Beer in a bag inside of a bottle? Not sure. I might have to call in a favor to my cousin to procure me one along with a refill. I am a little hesitant as the main unit is...

    Homebrewtalk Carboy Cleaner Giveaway

I'm sorry but I can't think of anything clever to post. I will return to my old habits and listen to my 4 year old daughter sing some silly songs while she dances around as she helps me clean. Please choose me for my sanity, the safety of my equipment and the sanity of my beers! ;-)

    Gas dip tube

Looked at kegconnection and their recommendation is drill out the hole to accommodated for the larger diameter of the metal tube. I'm not sure if you can buy a replacement plastic tube. I checked my kegs and the gas inlet is 5/16".
