    need propane plumbing help

Hello, we find ourselves in the same situation. I've sought out help from one hoppy guy and will be buying a propane manifold directly from him for my rig. I've built my own rig and taught myself to weld but for some reason doing the propane manifold scares me a little. The guys name is...

How much of a gap? Is 2 inches enough?

    Spotted cow

I just got sad. I'll be all grain in about two months so I guess I'll just have to wait.

This is a New Glarus farmhouse ale that I would really like to clone. Does anyone have a recipe for it?

    Yet Another Brewstand build

What do you think about drilling the mounting hole and then welding in a nut for the bolt? I have a bolt that is stainless but I can't weld stainless with my welder. Or would it make more sense to just go get a different bolt and weld it directly to the stand?

    Yet Another Brewstand build

Sorry I meant to ask how you mounted the rail that the burners are mounted to. The bolts that hang down from the main stand. How did you mount them without drilling through the top?

    Yet Another Brewstand build

Bringing this back because I actually learned to weld and made one myself. I'm currently stuck though with mounting my burners. I want to emulate what you have done here, I have the burners, the additional rail to mount them on. But I can't seem to figure out how you mounted the bolt...

Brew stand... giving it a go!

And yes I went with 2 inch tube. Mostly because it looked cool. Definitely overbuilt but I would do it this way again when I build another one.

Brew stand... giving it a go!

They are about 8.25 inches on their longest side. To be honest I didn't plan on doing them at all but I wasn't thoughtful enough on the front end with my measurements and my openings were 15 x 15 inches do I had to add the diamond design later to make it functional. Cutting and grinding and...

    Mounting banjo burners

So I went to pick up the parts to mount like this and it occurred to me that I do not understand how this was mounted. The bolt does not go through the top of the stand. Is this anchored somehow ?

Brew stand... giving it a go!

Hey there! Excited to see this thread. I am on the exact same path but am a little ahead of you. I have never welded before and have built this thing. More to come but it's fun!

    Mounting banjo burners

Hello, I saw the following mounting concept on this forum and I think I would like to emulate it based on simplicity and future flexibility. Does anyone see any potential flaws or difficulties with this design? It looks pretty straight forward and effective to me. Thoughts?
