Surprising thread title ha ha. I agree I am often impatient but it pays off every time I wait which is why I try to give it time and have some good drinks on hand to buy my time per se.

I feel like it is a cool thing but I really cannot get past how ridiculous people look that are wearing them. Maybe this is just my opinion but I always laugh inside when I see someone wearing them. Also they are insanely expensive. At least they will be at launch.

Ah good to know. I had read that if your bag covers the diptube it can cause a lot of foaming out of the tap which is one reason I questioned this approach to dry hopping.

Yeah it seems like nothing is ever at the weekends anymore? Maybe this is because people don't want to do anything on the weekend. Or they have to brew on the weekend :D

Is it better to age in the keg vs just letting it sit in a clearing vessel? My understanding was clearing vessel was for settling and keg was for chilling and carbing? Also then there would be less sediment in the bottom of the keg.

Is there much of an advantage in dry hopping in the keg vs a clearing vessel? It just seems more work to clean out of a keg vs a carboy but maybe I am wrong.

Are you using a 5 gallon as a primary? Just from what it looks like or is this a secondary in which case a new airlock will probably be in your cart soon :)

I have also had pretty good luck with speeding the dropping process by giving my carboy a small swirl or two. Also using google is alot better than the built in search bar:mug:

Hmm seems like it would work pretty well. You could experiment with a larger volume of water if you wanted to see how it worked. Tired of just using a spoon to create a whirlpool or is there another motive behind using something else?

Northern Brewer has some nice blonde ales. I am a big fan of their cream ale which I sadly pulled the last pint from today so it may be in order to make it again. I am sure it would be easy to add a hint of strawberry to it as well.

Nice looking fish! It would be nice if it wasn't 20 degrees here in PA so we could at least enjoy the outdoors some.
