I know leinenkugels uses elderberries in their BerryWeiss. Maybe dig around for a clone and it would give you some added direction.

Printing at Kinkos; Sticking with Milk

I keg everything but always bottle off at least 1 beer into a bottle for my collection. I use kinko regular laser paper. Should be $0.59. I use them because I like using their cropping/cutting table. I secure mine with either adheive spray or just a 3m glue stick. They come off amazingly...

Is it too late to plant hops?

I really do not know the answer to this question either, however I live in Oklahoma and finally planted mine last week. The sad thing is I had them in march and just never got around to planting them. I don't see why they would not sprout and at least grow alittle giving you a better harvest...

    Siamese Twin Ale Clone

I am looking for a clone recipe for Siamese Twin Ale by Uncommon Brewers. I know some of the ingredients will be hard to find. It's hazy orange in color and has a massive ivory head. I know it has lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. It is also a Belgian-style dubbel. Thanks in Advance.

    Reinheitsgebot

I dunno what I was on last night, its been rough lately. Alot of irons in the fire. Sorry about the spelling. I see it both ways actually. I do think Hairydogbrewing is on to something. Most things are about money. Isn't this why turbid mashing was invented/used?

    Reinheitsgebot

MOD EDIT: Split from another thread. The type of lid you are referring to is commonly called a type 3. It has an automatic pressure release at like 125psi. As previously stated the best and easiest way to release pressure is on the gas side. I like these mainly because I follow the...

    Reinheitsgebot

The Reinstatgebolt is a 500 yr old german purity law, stating that beer may contain onlyl 4 ingredients: Malted Barley, Hops, Yeast & Water. Therefore, no force carbing, and you cannot use corn sugar. However you can use DME. Which I actually believe for these "simple" beers produces a...

Got a new (and full) Coke keg w pin lock - weird pressure relief valve???

The type of lid you are referring to is commonly called a type 3. It has an automatic pressure release at like 125psi. As previously stated the best and easiest way to release pressure is on the gas side. I like these mainly because I follow the Reinheitsgebot, using DME in the keg. The pull...

Adding water to beer after lagering period.

I have a light lager I brewed in the begining of January. It has a high OG and low FG, making it a big beer. However being as this was my first lager, I have lost some final product due to fermentation/lagering, etc... My question is can I add water to get my volume up to say 5 gallons? I am...

    Need Names for 2 Brews

Unless your selling it, who is gonna be like, "oh you can't but a miami hurricanes logo on that beer!" If Allen from The Hangover was talking about you he would say, "He was a retard". Just pick something, hopefully your gonna drink it soon. I do pinup/girls on all my labels, its just my...

    3 faucet viper tower?

I can't tell you that much about them but micromatic carries a dual I think. The Dual is like $380 or something, never seen the triple, but haven't looked either. Can't tell you how they attach but looks like it is internal threaded. The price on this is gonna be up there, when all is said...

    wheat beer with strawberries

Just buy frozen strawberries, the cheap kind is okay. I made a succulent strawberry blonde awhile back and used 3lbs. I got the recipe on here and I think the guys used something like 6 or 8 lbs. Mine was pretty tart/sweet. He said his was almost lambic sweet. I didn't want lambic sweet...

    Co2 tank or Paintball tank?

I am going to build a portable kegarator out of an extra single tower I have laying around. I am wondering if it would be more cost effective for my design to "convert" a paintball tank or just simply buy a normal small co2 tank. Since I already have a regulator and gauges. I am thinking I...
