Has anyone used a corny keg as a fermenting vessel with a lager? I've never made a lager, and I wasn't sure if blow-off is a non-issue since lager yeasts are bottom fermenting. Can I get by with an airlock?
"Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day" is a good book to read as well. I've been making bread using that method for a year and a half now. I can't remember the last time I've bought store bought bread, it's hard to go back.
I did the same thing - making beer for friends' wedding as my gift, and moving to AG, as my gift to me... :) I made 20gal for an 80 person wedding that's actually this weekend. Only I kegged instead - the idea of bottling 20gal into bottles wasn't exactly thrilling.

I've never used it, but it currently smells like sanitizer. It looks clean, no scratches.
I'm not the original owner and I have no idea how old it is. There is a piece of masking tape that has a date from 2006 on it, so I guess it is at least 3 years old.

Anyone use this for their all-grain setups?

Hey guys!
Thanks for the welcome.
I've been going to the Culver City Brew Supply (Culver City Home Brewing Supply Co.) for pretty much everything.

Hi everyone!
Been brewing since January (extract + specialty grains), and it's turned out pretty good so far. I'm thinking about going all-grain soon too.
Just wanted to say hey and that I'm enjoying reading the tips and everything on the forum.
Cheers.
