    After its clean, dump a gallon of boiling water in it. Seal her up and flip 15 mins, 15 mins after that your good(30 min soak). san star sanitizes, heat sterilizes.

    I'd probley consider throwing it in at the end of the boil. Heard something about cooked grape juice messes with the taste were use to in wine.

    at what point does a primary become an open container, during krausen? I've also thought about keeping the capper in the car in the case I am drinking and driving, but I'd probley still get a DUI.
