    Why Starsan??

I use Starsan and love it. I don't wear gloves (it sanitizes your hands as well) and my plastic primary fermenter has yet to be eaten through : ). Plus, all of the foam and bubbles it leaves behind will not hurt your beer at all.

    Carbing instruction from the homebrewstore

You could just keg the beer, let it cool overnight, and then hook up the gas for 24 hours.

    Dual Tap Despenser

Currently my kegerator has a tower with only one tap. I want to upgrade to a two tap version without modifying the current tower. I found this on eBay and was wondering if anyone had any experience in ordering from this person or if it looks like a quality tower. Any help would be greatly...

    Small problem...

I'll be upgrading soon. Hot Springs is a great town. There's nothing like Lake Hamilton in the summer time. They have quite a few good golf courses as well.

    Small problem...

Thanks for the advice. I ended up making an IC. It is probably the ugliest one ever produced, but it got the wort down to pitching temps in less than 20 minutes. Thanks for the help!

First All Grain - Ended up with too much wort

I did my first AG today and everything went great. I brewed BM's Centennial Blonde. The only problem was i ended up with probably a little over 6 gallons of wort instead of 5. I used beersmith for the water calculations. One reason could be that my propane tank started to run low and the boil...

    Small problem...

I am doing my first AG today and I forgot to get one thing...a wort chiller. My pot is 15 gallons, so an ice bath won't work. My LHBS is closed today. Should I make my own chiller? Is there another way I can chill the wort without using a chiller? Thanks for the help. :ban:

First All Grain - Centennial Blonde Questions

I am going to do my first AG this weekend and have some questions. I plugged the recipe into beersmith hoping to get the mash in and sparge water amounts, but it only gave me the mash in amount. Is there a way to set it to where it will give you both? I plan on batch sparging and set the mash...

easiest virgin all grain.. be gentle.

I'm looking to pop my all grain cherry as well. What would be the mash and sparge water amounts and temps for the centennial blond?

    Starsan info

A little off topic, but how in the heck do you get the starsan from the bottle up to the ounce measure? I tried like crazy the other day and ended up having to spoon it in.

    Sanyo 4912 keg capacity

What about if you have the co2 tank on the outside and put the 3 gallon in the middle of the two 5 gallon kegs?

    Sanyo 4912 keg capacity

Is it possible to fit 2 5 gallon kegs and a 3 gallon keg in the sanyo? I am just curious as to if the 3 gallon keg could sit on the back ledge.
