    Another HERMS is born...

Thanks! I wanted the pumps higher for easy switching of lines and want to maximize the GPM capability of the pumps for whirlpool action in the BK.

    Another HERMS is born...

Finally got a chance to work on the stand today. My metal fab friend dropped off the pump cover and mount last night. Installed and painted the control arm. Re-did the pilot lines and did some touch up painting. This week i received all the switches, buttons, and PIDs for the control panel from...

    Another HERMS is born...

It has been a while since i posted an update. Two kids and a busy career have kept me away from my passion and this project. I got the pumps in the mail today and should be able to get them and the control arm mounted this weekend. I will post picks when i get to it.

I have not tested yet. I need the parts for the control panel. Thanks for the heads up. Adding spacers to the top of the stand would be best IMO. I will let you know when I get it up and running.

Thanks! Yeah these are the Vr800 from pex supply. I converted them to LPG. I have been really busy lately. I hope next weekend I can get the HLT polished and start ordering parts for the control panel. Still need to get the control arm mounted to the side. That should not take too long.

    I didnt prime my keezer

Any brand of clear water based top coat will be fine. If you are unsure, just apply a little bit in a place no one will notice, wait for it to dry and come back and check it. The importance is water based. Oil based will yellow over age and solvent based will peel the paint. Just an FYI that...

    I didnt prime my keezer

Priming will not change the durability of the top coat. It will only help adhesion and create an even sheen if the substrate is uneven. If you are looking to add a protective coat on top use a water based clear finish.

    Another stand is born

When you say on/off mode, does this mean that the controller will open the valve based on the temp readings OR that you need to manually turn the burners on via the control panel?

    Another stand is born

This is a beautiful stand, Nice work! Just curious, where did you source the parts for your control panel? I'm working on a stand of my own and still need to complete the designa and parts list for the control panel.
