I've had this happen when chilling down to pitching temps as well. The key I've found, is at it is pumping the ice water through the coils, gently rock the bucket back and forth to stir up the wort. It helps evenly cool it down. Once fermentation is active, the yeast will be stirring things...

At what psi will the PRV open?

Jay, I'm looking to get a custom 1.5" TC "T". But instead of a tri clamp coming off the side, I'd like a welded 1/2" female npt thread welded on. Essentially I'm looking to build inline oxygenation into my system. I already have the attached oxygen stone, just looking to add it into my setup.

No compression fitting. Would like it to be the same as the one you currently offer, only with a larger diameter tube.

No worries. There was another member that suggested that, but I'm definitely in the market for one. I've found larger diameter pickup tubes out there, but wanted to see what you could do, as I own a few of your products and know they are always top quality.

Jay, did you ever get a chance to check into that?

Length from face of kettle to back of 90 doesn't matter as much. From 90 to the end of tube can't exceed 2 1/8"
