    5 Gallon mash tun build question

    Dave, I just started to assemble all grain equip myself. By read of it, get a ball valve assembly that attaches to the 90 deg false bottom via copper tube or vinyl hose. Do a search for mash tun, a couple outstanding threads about making mash tun.

    I tried to get close to Sunset Wheat by adding 2 oz. of Blueberry extract at bottling, nice touch. I like the recipe above Homer, I will be checking that out from Northern, thanks Kenosha.

    Nice! Thanks. I am going to get this kit again and try with a 3 gallon boil. I can't wait, but will the OG be off? Will I need to adjust the hoppage and extract to get the desired gravity and bitterness if I increase boil volume?
