    Ommegang is one of my favorites too! They added a really nice cafe/taphouse, the views are still amazing. They do some concerts with camping which sell out fast

    You can after carbonating in the keg. There is a lot to canning and it can be expensive. I just have some 32oz growlers to fill and handout. They bring the growler back for a refill

    Good electric burner/hot plate for sparge

    I just heat up all my water, about 7 gallons to mash temp, draw off the 3 gallons for the sparge into a pot. The sparge water temp drops to about 105. I don’t heat it back up and never had an extraction issue. I would find another area to spend the money

    Wort does not need to be sanitized. Pasteurization is all that is needed, in my opinion and experience. Although some prehopped extract instructions say to just add hot tap water., not my thing. Boiling wort will create a hot break which separates the proteins. Hop utilization...
