    It's definitely fermenting i can tell you that. It has that brown ring thingy now lol. For some reason whatever i brew mead, lager etc seems to complete real fast and have a high % lol

    Hi guys Just started a 40 pint batch of the wilkos cerveza and used brewing sugar this time. Weirdly after 10 minutes of the yeast being added theres bubbling in the airlock o.o is this normal from what i remember its usually meant to happen 12 hours+ after its been added

    Ok so i took another reading to be sure. I'm now not getting any air bubbles pretty much took a reading and it's at .994? It started at 1.100. I've now added stabiliser as i'm just going to bottle and let it age. Any clues to if i've done something massively wrong? It smells much like a wine...

    Thanks for the reply mate. After a week though?! Finished after a week? 0.0 the hydrometer was at near 1.000 but it has pretty much no flavor at the moment and its still bubbling the airlock.

    Ok so I've just taken out my raisins and strained them. Tried to take a hydrometer test but it basically just sunk to the bottom of anything I would put it in and my mead tastes like a vodka shot? After one week? 0.0 Any ideas? Oh and I also can't taste any blackberries nor honey lol

    Added 1 tsp citric acid yesterday and found out i had too much vodka for it to be able to push through the airlock. It's bubbling every 8-10 seconds now though!

    Ok well I just gave it a little stir. It's more fizzing and making small bubbles like a lemonade rather viggerously. I think i've got some air mixed up in their. Can someone let me know when about it should be stirred like how often and should it be vigerous

    Yeah i thought it was because the massive gap. There aren't massive bubbles but it definitely is bubbling a bit and letting off gas

    Ok so i'm going to attach a couple pictures. I opened it up this morning being curious as i've still no bubbles in the airlock present and this is how it looked i'm not sure if this is normal lol. This is how my mead gap looked

    I panic far too much I can hear it fizzing away my cap is on tight as hell and ive filled my airlock this much (see picture) but its still not moving and i can kinda smell the yeasty smell
