    bbentley's Keezer Build...

Yeah.. I am fairly worried about the hinges after lifting it the front of it a little..lol. I have some more ideas of how to help support it to get kegs in, but I am not sure when those will happen.

    bbentley's Keezer Build...

lol.. thanks.. Had they taken the keezer my SWMBO would have hunted them down and.. well I am not going to even try and imagine what she would have done... she is ready for this project to be over so we can get back to having some kind of free time. I am just ready to see it done so I can pour...

    bbentley's Keezer Build...

Grout is done! I will go ahead and say it is not perfect by any means, but I am pretty damn pleased with it if I do say so myself. :) I still have to put poly on the coffin and attach it to the top, after that it is basically just plumbing and attaching the top to the keezer. Oh, and I have...

Bringing keg to football game...have a few questions

I have used my 10 gallon rubbermaid cooler as a temporary keg chiller for a party before. Worked great. I just put the keg in there, put ice around it best I could then kept a couple towels over it to help hold the cold air in.

Can you buid it? (keezer from scratch)

Should be possible.. not much different than a fermentation chamber. I would look at the ideas people have done for that on here and try going from there.

Knotty Pine and Cedar Log Keezer Build

Hey Hopp.. if your going to be putting your CO2 tank outside of the keezer maybe you would want to look into one of these: http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_info.php?products_id=10234 I have one for my build, but I have not done the plumbing yet so you probably havent seen it. I have it...

    Side-by-Side Kegerator/Fermentation Chamber

See if this helps you out.. I have a GE Profile Arctica side-by-side that looks almost identical to the OP's except I have digital controls instead of knobs. I been trying to figure out how I am going to rewire mine soon as I finish my keezer project. Just came upon this and figured it might...

    bbentley's Keezer Build...

Ok guys.. update time again. I would have posted this yesterday but I had a minor set back in life. Some cowardly b@stards broke into my house and wiped me out. Luckly they didnt harm anyone (no one was home) or damage anything.. they just took over 8k worth of my electronics and stuff...

    The 'Keezer' Project

Keep in mind you can do stages to help spread the cost over time. I started by buying my kegging stuff with the plastic party taps and a temp controller. Then I had my kegs in my freezer with temp control and just used the party taps for a while. Then if you wanted (I didnt go this route, but...

    The 'Keezer' Project

I am not Cap1, but since I am in the middle of my keezer build I can give you a rough idea of the costs. Assuming you are starting from scratch but have general tools and a way to cut some wood (I am borrowing the use of my GFs brothers miter saw and table saw).. Freezer: $100-300 (depending...
