    Valve-Orifice from Brewers Hardware Question

So you dont use needle valves at all, just the orifice/valve setup to tune the flame? Just trying to figure out if I need to buy needle valves too so I can start buying up the parts I need... and based on the two posts above I guess I can skip the separate needle valves. Thanks guys.

    Valve-Orifice from Brewers Hardware Question

Ok.. so I am trying to piece together what all I need to start plumbing my brewstand and I have a question for those that might know. Does the valve/orifice linked below act as a low pressure orifice and a needle valve to control the flame or would I need it an a needle value to fine tune...

    Pump Question

Hmm.. I would love to hear some feedback on these too. I am getting ready to start my brewstand build and two pumps for the price of 1 would be well great if they are worth it.

    Outdoorsy keezer build

Looks like a good plan. You will want to consider how you are going to handle the heat escaping from the skin of the freezer though. Goes back to the debate of if putting wood right against it is ok or if you should leave a gap. And since you would be using rock instead of wood that might...

    bbentley's Keezer Build...

So its been a long time since I did anything to the keezer.. but really its been a long time since I have got to do anything brewing related. My poor keezer looks pitiful right now because I only have 1 brew in it. But that is about to change!! I ordered 3 kits from Austins Homebrew and I...

    Keezer Question

My 4 taps are 4.5 inches center to center. Gives about a 4" gap between them after assembly.

    keezer question I haven't seen

Yeah, I started with 2x4s for my collar but decided I wanted 4 taps and needed to use the hump so I went to 2x6s

Keezer is looking good. Keep it up! I think I am about to finally get around to adding some finishing touches to mine along with making my fermentation chamber.

    keezer collar help

Shouldnt be an issue. The biggest thing you need to consider with a collar is just getting it sealed at the top, bottom and corners. 1 layer of wood or 2 layers of wood glued together shoudnt make any difference.

    Newbie Keezer build questions

I used tile on mine and it is a B#TCH to lift. And I have the same issue you were describing about lifting to far will cause the freezer to tilt back too. RIght now I just use a 2x4 I had left over from the build to prop the lid up. Just make SURE you prop between the freezer and the lid...

    Wiring a 12v cooling fan.

Opps.. you are correct. I skimmed over the numbers on it but missed that the output was AC.

    Wiring a 12v cooling fan.

Yeah.. as it has already been said you need another power source that puts out more than 500mA. Look for one that does at least 1000mA (or 1A). Also, you can run those fans with a lower voltage power supply, but they will not turn as fast and as such not move as much air. Just a thought.

    Starting my Keezer Build...

That is similar to what I had planned on doing, but my SWMBOs ocd would not allow me to have the sides different... lol. I wanted to do the cabinet like you see on each side of mine on the right and just a full 3 or 4 level "bookshelf" on the left side for glasses and such. Build looks great...

    Newbie Keezer build questions

lol.. while I wouldnt normally just flat out disagree with Hop I have to on this one. Plan.. plan and plan some more!! I planned my build until my SWMBO was SICK of seeing sketches and hearing ideas and I still missed little things that I had to redesign on the fly. If you have any questions...
