    Fruit Beer Wild Strawberry Blonde

Hey I noticed the 60 minute boil time. You ever find you get the cream corn flavor with all that pilsner malt at 60 mins?

    Fruit Beer Wild Strawberry Blonde

Never mind I googled. Looks like the fruit addition has very little to do with abv.

I would guess the strawberries would ferment a bit too. That would add some abv to this recipe I would think eh?

    Man, I love Apfelwein

After 6 months being in the business of home brewing I have finally made up a batch of the famous edworts apfelwein. Used frozen concentrate and ec1118. Sounds like it should do the trick. She's happily murky and bubbling this morning. Glad I'm going on vacation so I don't have to sit here...

    Coopers Pilsner will get better

So just thought I'd share the experience of coopers pilsner. Made it at lowest temps for the yeast. About 14C. Primary for 4 weeks and then bottled. After 3 weeks in bottle I can say this beer tasted awful, with a strong sulphur smell that you couldn't ignore. I put it in the basement with no...

I dunno anymore. Added my starter and she's been bubbling up just fine. But after a handful of days the gravity hasn't changed 1 point. Hmmmmm. Lots of bubble on top and airlock bubbles every 10 secs. I'm lost

Where do you get frozen strawberries cheap? Got enough stuff for 10 gallons. But man I never realized the high strawberry price.

    Extra Hard Lemonade

Well I transferred to secondary and after 5 days it's stayed 1.05 and syrupy. Gunna make a starter tommorow and pitch. Gotta drop it a bit.

    Cream Ale Fizzy Yellow Beer

    Cream Ale Fizzy Yellow Beer

Into the boiler after I think a successful mash. One thing is I measured the prevoil SG an it's 1.022. But the recipe asks for 1.038. Is my SG supposed to be adjusted for the tempature of the water. Eg. 1.022 @ 150f = 1.038 @ 60ish. I hope so or ima be drinking fizzy yellow water.
