    Stepping it up a notch!

I know Kickstarter is going to add some complications to the license process, but since their not getting any stock or interest in the company that's not an issue. It falls under " Goodwill" or money that does not have to be paid back. What is going to be fun is if during the investigation...

    Stepping it up a notch!

Still waiting to hear back from the state, but its only been a week. Everything else is chugging along fine. Except for my nerves, every hurdle we approach I have a moment and need to calm down:cross:. The really optimistic view is late fall, in reality anytime from then till next June...

BrewShoes and other Beer Day Rituals

Other than cleaning the bejesus out of the kitchen and sportin crocs for the reasons already stated, I've yet to get a ritual going. Kind of. I never brew alone. Must have someone present, friend, family, kids, it doesn't matter. This process is a thing to share, to spread. I tell everyone...

Copper Harbor, MI Hoists a Brew to You!

Yup that's me. I have a thread down in DIY about it. If anyone wants to shoot the breeze, hit the sweet mtn. bike trails or say high when they're up here, just stop at the Gaslite General Store and ask for Jason. I'm either there, across the street, or at home and they'll know where I'm at...

    Stepping it up a notch!

Hi all. I need to come here more often, I've been away/lurking for to long. I've been homebrewing for something like 7 years and, the past few years I've been busy. Aside from the children, becoming an EMT and brewing, I've been planning. Last June I took the American Brewers Guild...

The strangest thing I've ever put in a recipe is...

Accidently addded a slight hint of tomato and onions to my friends first try at a vanilla bean porter. Funny thing was it came out good and had a slight taste of Bush's Baked beans, very drinkable. We've been trying to reproduce it ever since.

Copper Harbor, MI Hoists a Brew to You!

Yeah my wife used to go around town the day after the forth and make upwards of $50 in cans, when she was 12. But not anymore, we as a town have made it more of a family affair and there is a large, for up here, police presence on the 4th. They use the community building as a holding tank and...

Copper Harbor, MI Hoists a Brew to You!

Who knew that so many Tech Geeks end up making beer:rockin: I know a Mech Engineer at Tech who makes Whiskey with his Chem Engineer friend. And the Sheriff now is Aho, I've still never been to Keystone, and I get to light off the fireworks on the 4th. Yesterday I hit the trails and...

Copper Harbor, MI Hoists a Brew to You!

Nice! Now I have another forum for another of my obsessions. Hi, my name is Jason and I have a problem.:drunk: No that's not right. I am without a doubt the farthest north brewer in Michigan, unless some bloke out on a freighter is doing so right now. So, um Hi. I like beer, and I guess...
