I've never brewed BIAB so I'm not sure how I will sparge. My LHBS guy said on a batch that size I may find the need to use some extracts. Once I pick the bag up I plan on giving it a shot and see what happens.

I've got 4 pin lock kegs and a Hoff-Stevens keg to barter with.

SWMBO got me a mill for Christmas. Guess I'm back to looking for a pin or firkin.

I have a 45 gallon stainless pot with a drain tube on the bottom and double walled. It was a stew pot from a church that wanted to downsize so I got their old pot. I do all grain now using two pots and an Igloo mash tun. I want to step it up a bit but don't want to purchase another pot (HLT) and...

Still cheaper than the $175 I found a Pin for at LHBS. I'd like to find a used one since SWMBO isn't to keen on me spending over $100 for an item I may use only once a year since all my drinking buddies will spend an entire day at the house drinking from it.

Prefer a pin but would take a firkin for the right price. I don't care the condition as long as I can seal it up for fermentation.

John, Mike, Alex, Kristy are all great people. I drive an hour and half just to get my supplies. They love my twice monthly trips as I never come alone and we spend a ton. All well worth it.

I'm confirmed to take the BJCP exam in May. I've been wait listed four times but now I'm in. I've been studying the style guidelines been brewing for 18 years and even entered and won some competitions. I still don't know what to expect and some pointers and study help would be great.

I have 3 for beer and 1 for food. I also get upset at my SWMBO for taking up beer space in my beer fridges. But I let her on occasion since she gave me the entire basement to brew in now.

I'm right at 3 to 4 hours depending on who is "helping". Sunday took about 6 hrs but I did multi stage infusing and it took me longer to get my boil up due to it being 30degrees outside where I brew.
