    Regulator won't read 0 PSI

I've had some pretty negative experiences with my kegging setup since I bought it. The beers I've made have usually needed to "saturate carb" at around 10-12 PSI. If I set my regulator at 10-12 PSI then the carbing is slow to non-existent. I then have to crank it to around 20+ PSI and still wait...

    Specific gravity questions

Did you adjust for temp? Did you stir your wort pre boil? You can get stratification of gravities if you don't. Have you calibrated your hydrometer?

    First beer ever problem

My lemon lime heffe was warm brewed. Unintentional but noticed it when I got smacked in the face with banana flavors. When you give it to people don't tell them about the bananas see of they can "find" it. Also if you want to avoid tasting a lot of the banana drink the beer from a frosty mug.

    Bottling day is here!

While you are investing, I would recommend getting another bucket. This will allow you to siphon off all the way down to trub without trying to balance that with filling bottles. You may also want to get a wedge (of some form) to put under your bucket. I've always used a little piece of 2x4 to...

Double IPA Dogfish Head 90 Minute Clone

I have a batch of oatmeal stout fermenting right now. I used WLP002 for that batch. Would there be any large downsides to doing this receipe on a large WLP002 cake versus a WLP007 starter? Looking at the documentation for the two, WLP007 seems to have a higher attenuation and slightly higher...

Looking for a quick turn-around beer

Honey blonde does sound good. It will actually be all-grain and probably won't happen until next weekend. This is really just the intersection of me needing a summer beer with more body than the lemon lime heffe (something was amiss) and me getting kegging equipment that looks sad sitting there...

Looking for a quick turn-around beer

I just bottled a Sierra Nevada Clone, but I'm trading about half of it. I have about a case of Lemon-Lime Heffe left, but it is kind of weak. So I'm taking suggestions for a beer that I can quickly turn around (1-2 week primary then force carb) so that I can have something for summer...

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

I just recently switched over to all-grain brewing and am still working on my wife to let me replace our fridge so that I can use the old one for fermenting and later kegging. The thing I worry about is that my wife doesn't really like anything above what I would call slight banana flavors in...
