    False Bottom DIY????

    I know you said DIY, but not all of them are over $100 I am actually getting ready to use something like this for a Rubbermaid MLT http://www.midwestsupplies.com/11-sanke-stainless-steel-false-bottom.html Although I will probably be going with the 9" for around $25 plus shipping.

    Non-Dry Hop...Hopping.

    Haa, well we are both still pretty new @ brewing, so it sounded like it could be logical to me. Kinda relieved that this isnt the case, adding more fermentables and doing some weird quasi-secondary fermentation with 1/2 a cup didnt sound like a whole lot of fun.

    Pumpkin Ale Filtering/Straining

    Cold crashing worked pretty well for my Pumpkin Ale and I had about as much trub as you. Also I was really considering using gelatin, dunno if it would have helped clear out the pumpkin or not.
