i would say it has to do with your conical being in there think how much harder that thing has to work to get all of that mass down to temp give it time it should get down there

what program are you all using to make a label i was using AVERY design pro but now that i have made a label that i kinda like i can't figure out how to resize it for proper printing. and i also can't get it to open in any other program besides this one. thanks guys

well i JB welded the whole bottom of the pot already tomorrow im going to do a boil of water let it cool and taste it. JB welds website says it can take heat of up to 600 for 10 minutes and 500 all day and that it's non toxic so if it doesn't leach a flavor i think i should be good to go
