This is the part where you say welcome to the board dummy...

I wasn't sure if beer continues to clear even after bottling... some of the bottles even though they're only 48 Hours old have sediment on the bottom which I'm not really a fan of but I know that's part of home brewing and bottling. I don't know if that stuff will settle out or thin out and...

Ohio 4 6gal glass carboys - Columbus, oh area

Unfortunately, these have been sold. However, a buddy of mine who decided to start this Homebrewing Journey has now changed his mind and I may be acquiring some of his as well. Are you guys in the Columbus area?

This is the part where you say welcome to the board dummy...

So I figured I would hop in with an update (pardon the pun)... I bottled 10 gallons of beer last night. 5 gallons of an American pale ale and 5 gallons of cream ale. They are both relatively cloudy still even though I left them in the primary fermenter a little longer and used a whirlfloc...

    Not homebrew but...

Wolf's Ridge is fantastic. I'm a pretty big cream ale fan and its one of the best I've had. There's another small Brewery called Knotty Pine which is also very good in terms of cream ale. I find a lot of these breweries by doing the Columbus ale Trail, which is basically a tour of different...

    Not homebrew but...

Quite honestly, I love a good beer regardless of whose name is on the label. I've had craft beers that were great and craft beers that were terrible. I've had BMC beers that are great and some that are terrible. I'm not loyal to either. I'm loyal to good beer.

    Not homebrew but...

I just wanted to share the label because I thought it was freaking hilarious and pretty witty. I will wholeheartedly agree that craft breweries are probably a lot better beer. Bmc's do suck for the most part. But that's one hell of a label LOL

    Not homebrew but...

I've got to say, this is one of the coolest and most epic beer labels I've ever seen. The beer is damn good too!

    Dumb n00b question...

If it tastes anywhere near as good as it smells coming out of the airlock I'm going to be a very happy man!
