What does your HBT name mean?

spk = my initials guitar = what I like to do when I'm not slaving the day job or making beer. I lived just outside of Marquette for a few years when I was a young lad. Nice peaceful place.

You mean, like this? (http://marshallfridge.com/) It's not actually a working amp, and you would have to convert it into a kegerator, but both projects would be fairly easy. :rockin:

Cut back on Beer because the belly is too big?

+1 This is what I have been doing and it works great. It's a little bit of a pain to get used to, but after awhile, you don't even have to really think about it. It's a little bit like my philosophy about drinking in general; achieve and maintain. :cross: And my beer intake is factored...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewed Austin's budget stout yesterday. Weather was great. Drank some cream ale while I was doing it. It's my smallest girl's birthday today, so no brewing today, but since I have the day off tomorrow, I just might do another. Hope the LHBS is open tomorrow.

    I'm switching to better bottles

Cooling really is the answer. Hot wort in anything but metal is going to be a bad idea. Check out passedpawn's post: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/boiling-water-ok-pet-carboy-374623/#post4688488
