    My ESB taste like soap

I'm still learning, and I've never experienced this first hand, but... Soapy flavor is usually caused by fatty acids, typically from too long in the primary. Oxidized beta acids release volatile fatty acids, typically smelling of cheese. Probably old/bad hops? That would be my guess.

    Element question

You probably have to thread it around the element only, not the foldback? Start with the smaller element bend through the nut, and then winding your way back around the foldback. It may be necessary to bend the element slightly for the nut to fit between the fold initially.

    Element question

Which element, specifically? Which nut are you trying, specifically? Most elements you will find use a 1 inch nut.

    Pittsburgh/Western PA Group By #9+

I created a password on the site using the link I was sent, and got a confirmation email. When I go to the site I get taken to a password entry page that says "This site is for members only. Enter the general password if you have access." When I try to use the password I created to login, I...

    ID this Auber kit?

It can be used with that PID, yes, and could be used for an HLT, depending on how you plan on setting it up. The probe itself is too long to be used in a T fitting like in Kal's setup, but you could use it to measure directly. It just might not be as accurate.

    My ugly eBrutus 20

Will do on the space pics. I already purchased an inline fan (ACFB8), and intake/exhaust vents for the garage already. The driveway extends around the side wall of the garage, so it should be fairly straightforward. (crosses fingers) Planning a homemade hood; still working on the material...

    My ugly eBrutus 20

Thanks. And yep, Nothing I've done venting-wise so far has helped, so brewing is on hold for a bit. (Thank goodness I've got a few in the train) Decided to move back out to the garage and install proper venting. Also decided to upgrade the panel since I'm moving it anyway, so I got the auber 2...

    Pre-Built Controller Options

It depends on what your process is (or what you want it to be), and how much you want to spend. The cheap Still Dragon Controller might suit your needs (you didn't say if you wanted temp control or manual), but you would still have to build it. High Gravity has several panels available...
