    Chocolate Coconut Stout?

Look in the "Porter" section... not much (if any) difference between a porter and a stout. I just saw a coconut porter recipe that looked to have good feedback.

    Another Kit Thread

If you're starting... and even if you're not... you don't really need a secondary carboy or fermenter. That is unless you plan on adding fruit or something. Secondary fermentation isn't necessary... just a way to further clear your beer if that's what you're interested in. Much easier to just...

Leffe Clone: The Bastard Extract Version

I'm through maybe half a case already and I wasn't going to touch it until February. Haven't done the side by side comparison yet, so I don't know quite how it compares... but it's good :) The 3 cups of sugar I added definitely added some alcohol to the beer, though... 2 of these and I'm...

    reiterated mash....anyone, anyone?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is just using the same water on twice the grain bill, right? Like pouring coffee into your coffee maker to brew another pot?! Seems legit. Not unlike doing twice as big a batch and boiling away half the liquid... just a different route to the same end.

    What are you drinking now?

I wasn't even going to taste this beer until mid-February... but it keeps getting better :) My Leffe Clone: The Bastard Extract Version

    What movie sucks you in?

I'll echo Princess Bride... I'll also throw in "The Jerk" and "Ghostbusters" (the only two movies I will ever own on both VHS and DVD ;)

    favorite 'big' beers

I'd toss Delerium Tremens into the basket of beers you should try. Kinda spendy for a regular brew, but fun for the occasional imbibing.

    750ml larger caps

Awesome, kids... thanks! Midwest is out of stock, but I found some at Rebel Brewer. Paid more for shipping than the caps, but less expensive than buying more bottles cuz I couldn't find a way to cap these.

    750ml larger caps

I have these lovely bottles from Indeed but I can't find caps to fit!! I've attached a pic to show relative size, though I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. HELP HELP!!! I bottle next weekend!!

    Lavender Chocolate Stout- in fermenter!

Sounds interesting... I am a fan of chocolate and non-traditional flavorings. Lavendar wasn't my favorite, but to each his own. I'm interested to see how this turns out.

Kegging Red Bull at $0.14 per 12 oz can

If I make it a chewy thick stout, I think the aforementioned warning of caffeine will keep people from pounding them. This might also keep my single beer during dinner from making me want to fall asleep at 7:30 with the kids ;)

Kegging Red Bull at $0.14 per 12 oz can

But if you measured it out to give your coffee stout the caffeine equivalent of a cup of coffee, I would think that would be pretty sweet. Or any other beer for that matter... if it truly does not affect taste at all. Just add it to the bottling bucket with the carbonation sugar, I would think...
