Anybody has any good recipes for a ginger beer?

Sweet. I am making this for the women in my family who just dont appreciate the malty flavors of beer. Also I enjoy drinking carbonated beverages and being ginger ale is one of my favorite drinks, this would be a healthy alternative to the high sugar store bought beverages.

Anybody has any good recipes for a ginger beer?

yeah I know its not a real beer. thats just what its called by popular masses. I could call "fizzy ginger flavor drink" but ginger beer works well for short. Root beer isnt really beer either. I get it. Im not sure what style it would go best with. That beer you mention sounds delicious, but...

    Post your infection

OH REALLY? Gee I never knew that. Derp. lol But in all seriousness. Have you tried kombucha tea? It is a fermented beverage tea drink. It has a couple different cultures but one in particular is Acetobacter which gives its distinctive vinegary taste.

Yeah I figured it would be. I should have added around three ounces the first go around. I dont like very bitter beer, but I do like balance beer. Hoppie IPA's are something I like to enjoy every once in a while. I did get to read John Palmer's book last night on the www.howtobrew.com which is...

well i stopped by the LHB store and picked up 3 lbs of Light (UHE) Malt and a pound of dried amber and some more hops (willamete) . Boiled for thirty minutes. The total volume that I added to my already fermenting batch was about a half a gallon. I brought the wort down to 80 and poured it into...

I know this is a n00b question but just give it a look...

I thought about using brown sugar, but I figured it would be harder to ferment and add flavors that I do think I would appreciate yet. I also though about cane syrup which would be interesting, being that its in liquid form and highly available. I wouldnt know how much to add. So I figured...

I know this is a n00b question but just give it a look...

Ah I see. I am not sure what I will do then. I am sort of new to beer as the process goes, but from so far from what I read, ales are the way to go. Lagering seems to be too much of a process. Clarity doesn't really concern me. Nor does sediment. I wont be racking into a secondary then. If...
