    Is Fermentation done?

I have a stout im brewing that FG should be 1.014. For three days my hydrometer readings are 1.018. Not awesome, but decent. The only thing that is stopping me from bottling is that the beer itself seems to have bubbles slowly coming to the top of the liquid, which makes me think it's...

    Sanity check with hydrometer reading.

A little embarrassed to say that I'm never a hundred percent sure how to read these so figured I'd ask for some quick help. Attached a picture of a hydrometer reading. Ignoring the temperature adjustment, what do you guys read that as? I read it as 1.018 (btw the lines are increments of .002)

Why did I lose gravity during my boil

@grimbrewer yea I did. I actually let it sit for a long time and took the reading at 70 degrees and adjusted it for temp. I did this for both of the readings. The post mash one sat for an extended period of time actually. The reading adjusted for temp and at 70 degrees both came out the same.

Why did I lose gravity during my boil

Hey guys, Long time lurker first time posting, love the forum and all the info you guys have. So yesterday I brewed an all grain IPA using BIAB and doing a five gallon batch. Everything was going well. Used Beersmith to calculate my day. Hit my post mash gravity of 1.059 with 7.5 gallons...
