The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Craft a brew support contacted me, and I was able to have their consent to remove the cover without voiding the warranty. First, removing the top cover didn't help at all for noise reduction. I think I have pinpointed where the excess vibration noise comes from. If you pinch the copper piping...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Thanks for the heads up, this is appreciated. I tried to pressure on the back plate too, and like you, it didn't make any difference.

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

I went ahead and purchased an "upgrade" for my Stasis.. this:https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07KFZ1G6W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think most of the sound that travels outside of the room where the unit is, is through vibration. My floor is hardwood, so maybe the...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

You make me sound like I am the only one who finds it loud. Actually you are the only person, so far, who doesn't seem to find it loud. I think my point is valid, so please don't try to minimise that aspect. To recap, this gear is sold towards home brewers, not commercial brewers. It is fair...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Anyhow, no matter what you compare 75db with, it is not absolutely not in the quiet range. End of story

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Yes 60db is the level of a conversation, Loud music=80 not 120db. 120DB is the threshold of pain. Maybe that explains why you are not finding it loud...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

I just don't understand how they qualify this device as quiet. At 75db, it's at the same level of a rock concert. I am really disappointed by that aspect. I don't think I will be able to keep the unit...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

I will wait for the support to contact me before opening up the unit. They sate that it will void warranty if you open it up without their consent. I can tell you that my girlfriend finds my hobby quite annoying and noisy...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

I have emailed the support for the excessive noise. I do not only hear a constant noise, but I hear a lot of rattling. Here I have uploaded a couple of videos so you can hear it for yourself: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UaKVY9FCASgkCc4y5 as for the level of noise, it is around 75db from 6 feet...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

One selling point in the Craft a brew campaign that made me back the project was this: I can tell you, now that I have the unit, that this claim is anything but true.

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

the lowest setting you can configure it to is 36f (2.2c) My comment was that setting it up at that temperature, the reading on the fermenter never went below 40f ishh. So even if you set it up at 36f it will never reach 36f. That was apprehended anyway, since there is obviously heat loss on the...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Giving it a test for crash cooling temps with 6 gallons of water inside my 7 gallon Unitank. I can't get any lower than 4.7c (40.4f) when setting it up at the lowest setting (36f)

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

Yes, big time!!!!! I was finally able to test out my Stasis and I too was surprised at how loud it was when I powered it on for the first time. I remember reading on their kickstarter page that one advantage of the Stasis over a DIY AC converstion, was that it was much quieter. I don't really...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

I just got mine last friday, though the glycol which I purchased with is still stuck at the border (I'm in Canada). I should get it this week and will finally able to test it out. I too have the issue with the warped button panel. My setup:

Canada Brewjacket Immersion Pro, 2 sets.

Hi, Actually I have already sold both units. For some reasons, the guy who bought them, didn't take the insulating jackets. So I still have them. One for 3 legged fermenter and the other one is for a 4 legged fermenter. If you want them let me know.

looking for quick disconnect valved-in coupler

As you said, ti was demesurate pricey venture to try to find the coupler alone. I ended up ordering another SS Brewtech kit. I tried to find only the couple/connector, but not luck... Thx!
