I was looking at the instructions and it seems that you can change the temperature unit from celcius to Fahrenheit.

havent used it yet it's probably the same thickness as the aluminum one and it looks sturdy enough for electric. I would not use it on propane.

The ones I got are in Celcius. but have not explored the functions yet. I'll look it up when I have 2 minutes.
